YEAR Network - Young European Associated Researchers
www.year-network.comYEAR, the Young European Associated Researchers Network, is a non for profit organisation gathering several RTOs accross Europe. We aim to support the career of the young researchers by offering a common channel for training, networking, mobility and consultancy. We encourage cross-border and interdisciplinary training to break down national and cultural barriers and develop the European Research Area (ERA). We facilitate the exchange of ideas, best practices and people. YEAR wants to achieve this by being a tool for networking and by increasing the professional skills and competences of young professionals in the beginning of their careers. ACTIVITIES - TRAINING: YEAR organizes several professional events (Annual Conferences, Workshop with industrial partners, topic-specific seminars on a research area) that help young researchers improving their skills - NETWORKING: through its professional events, as well as the social events settled by the young networks of each RTO member, YEAR encourages young researchers to get to know their colleagues and spread their network, a key for the development of their future career - MOBILTY: YEAR believes in the added value of a professional experience abroad. YEAR can help the young researchers of the network building up their mobility project. - CONSULTANCY: YEAR acts as the voice of young researchers and represent their ideas and perspectives towards major stakeholders like the European Commission.
