Our history in Norway began in 1929, with the formation of the limited company Norsk Vaktselskap. A collaboration between Norsk Vaktselskap and De Forenede Vagtselskaper in Copenhagen resulted in the establishment of the alarm company Securitas in 1946. Securitas AS was established on 10 May 1969, when AS Norsk Vaktselskap was acquired by Securitas AB. Since 1969, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions. Today, we are the market leader in the security industry, with a wide range of service deliveries across the country. Following a demerger back in 2006, Securitas Transport Aviation Security AS (STAS) was established. STAS is now a sister company to Securitas and is part of the Securitas Group in Norway.
