Center tasks According to the Council of Ministers’ decree, below are the tasks the center must perform: - Initiatives, programs and projects to develop vegetation cover and combat desertification - Developing implementation plans - Following up on their implementation - Proposing environmental standards, standards, controls and requirements - Increasing the percentage of vegetation cover in all areas of development - Protection of vegetation areas with all their habitats and genetic resources - Developing annual pastoralism plans
