Advancing Biblical Truth Truth in Action Ministries, formerly known as Coral Ridge Ministries, is a national Christian media outreach that educates, motivates, and activates Christians to understand God's truth, apply it to their daily lives, and transform American culture for Christ. The mission of Truth in Action Ministries is to introduce people to Christ, nurture and encourage Christians, and reform cultures. Truth in Action Ministries began in 1974 with a radio broadcast featuring ministry its founder, the late Dr. D. James Kennedy. The television outreach began in 1978, with the launch of "The Coral Ridge Hour," a weekly television program now known as "Truth That Transforms with Dr. D. James Kennedy." Truth in Action Ministries also offers a daily radio program, "Truth That Transforms," and the weekly television program, "Cross Examine," co-hosted by Dr. Del Tackett and John Rabe. With more than 35 years of ministry impact, two nationally syndicated television programs and a combined audience of more half a million on TV, radio and the Internet, Truth in Action equips believers to understand God’s Word, see their lives through a biblical worldview, and make a difference in the world. Truth in Action relies on the grace of God and the voluntary gifts of friends to support its media outreach. It adheres to the highest financial standards and is a member in good standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
