ATO Pictures (Art Takes Over) is a motion picture finance, production and distribution company based in New York City. ATO releases its films theatrically through its partnership in the distribution entity, IDP (Independent Distribution Partners). Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment handles ATO’s distribution for home entertainment. 

ATO was co-founded by musician Dave Matthews and music executive Coran Capshaw and managed by Temple Fennell and Johnathan Dorfman. ATO is part of a group of media companies, founded by Matthews and Capshaw. The companies include among others; Red Light Management, LLC: the largest privately owned music artist management company in the world with close to 120 artists including Dave Matthews Band, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Alicia Keys. ATO Records, LLC: Distributes more than 20 top indie-rock bands including multiplatinum artists Radiohead, David Gray, Widespread Panic, My Morning Jacket, Patty Griffin and the White Rabbits.
