The Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity (GCEO) | Office of the Governor is a state agency that enforces the Georgia Fair Employment Practices Act of 1978 and the Georgia Fair Housing Law. GCEO is charged with the mission of enforcing the State of Georgia's Anti-Discrimination laws in the areas of employment and housing. GCEO promotes and protects human rights throughout the state and wroks to eliminate and prevent discrimination through enforcement, investigation, compliance, mediation, and education and outreach. GCEO will ensure equal treatment of all Georgians and foster a more open and receptive environment in which to conduct business, live, and work. GCEO is dedicated to promoting fair and inclusive communities and workplaces.
