Creon Capital is fund managing company based in Luxembourg. Our Creon Energy Fund (I) has been licensed in 2016 as a Sicav-SIF. We focus on projects in the energy and chemical industries (renewables, oil & gas downstream, new technologies) seeking to achieve return fare above average. Our extensive operational experience as fund managers is combined with vast market knowledge by the Fund’s initiator, Creon Energy (Moscow). Eurasia, where Creon has been instrumental for the execution of many large-scale industrial projects, remains one of our focus regions. Countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia are rich in natural resources such as oil & gas, but short on processing capacities. Considering favorable market conditions with devalued local currencies and export-oriented economic policies, a new wave of industrialization is being experienced in Eurasia. Apart from Eurasia we grow our business together with strong cooperation partners such as the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD). In Europe we look into new technologies for the energy sector, including renewables and small-scale liquefied natural gas. Though we have complete confidence in the prospects and potential we are also aware of the risks when investing in emerging markets. To ensure the highest level of protection for our investors, we chose the Sicav-SIF as a legal platform for our Creon Energy Fund S.C.A., which is licensed by the Luxembourg Financial Services and Markets Authority (CSSF) and monitored by our depositary bank Intertrust, auditor Ernst & Young and the CSSF itself.
