Over the past years new application s including the conversion of methanol to dimethyl ether (clean fuel), Polypropylene and olefins are expanding. The growth rate of methanol usage as fuel in the recent period is 3 times higher than other methanol derivatives. According to the latest reports, it is expected that annual global demand growth for methanol to be continued with 1.3% per year.
