HEDONIST SPIRITS is a boutique spirits business based in Bordeaux. Creativity and innovation is the heart of what we strive for. We operate across different categories building our brands in every part of the world. We believe in shaping things differently and go further than what already exists. We imagine and create things differently. That’s why our very simple vision statement is “Reshaping Spirits”. Our core brands include HEDONIST, a liqueur of Cognac with a fine touch of ginger together with vanilla. And HEE JOY, a Spiced Rum blended from Jamaican, Trinidad and Guyana rums. Each brand is actually developing its own product range. We are also developing a new rum brand for the off-trade, Guns Bell. Jean-Marc Larhantec is the master mind behind those hand crafted spirits. Using his 25 years knowledge and experience of blending and crafting spirits, it has taken over 2 years and 42 steps to elaborate HEDONIST. This unique recipe is now of course secretly guarded. The story started in 2011 when Jean-Marc used to have his own advertising and PR agency in Paris. On the side of his main business he has always been interested in mixology and has been blending his own spirits and cocktails ever since he was, let’s say... hum...legal drinking age… At the time of his advertising agency, during launching events for his clients, he was serving his own compositions and everyone was wondering what product it was? As everybody was congratulating him about his beverage creativity and encouraging him to start his own spirit brand, it was not long before he ventured into creating HEDONIST.
