Data Rights South Africa (DrSA) is a non-profit, civil society organisation, promoting the self-sovereignty of personal data in an ever digitally transforming civilisation. Data rights are the new human rights, as so eloquently worded in the Netflix documentary film “The Great Hack”. DrSA finds extraordinary application in the Protection of Personal Information Act (PoPI Act) and is a stellar example of a community-oriented social entrepreneurship going to bat for digital transformation & inclusion of humanity.
