We are a group of parents who lived the experience of prematurity in the first person. We embraced the adventure of motherhood and fatherhood and nothing prepared us for the fact that, one day ... without warning, the child we wished for did not arrive on our lap and was stoically struggling for each day of a life that was being built second by second. In 2008, we founded XXS, a Portuguese non-profit association, with the status of IPSS (Private Institution of Social Solidarity) since March 2010. Our mission is to help premature babies and their families overcoming those which may be the most difficult moments of their lives.
