Established in 2007 as an independent philanthropic entity, the Trafigura Foundation provides long-term funding and expertise to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable communities around the world. We support non-governmental organisations in the development and implementation of programmes in the fields of Fair and Sustainable Employment and Clean and Safe Supply Chains. The collaboration we offer to our partners is based on a “venture philanthropy approach”: aside from funding, our team closely cooperates with organisations working on the ground to provide tailored non-financial support, such as access to our networks, technical advice on governance, operational management, and monitoring & performance measurement.
