We are motivated first and foremost by our love of old buildings, our commitment to the city and our belief that regeneration - even on the scale of the individual building - is an essential element to a sustainable future. We believe that conservation is the essence of sustainability, but we also believe that environmental conscientiousness is as much about doing things properly as it is about frugality. We believe architecture is about making simple, useful, meaningful and beautiful places and things. We have a particular interest in the city, and a particular focus on residential projects, listed building works, regeneration, commercial renovation, interiors, and small-scale development. Although our previous focus has been on private residential projects, our intention is to expand into the civic, the urban and commercial sectors.
