Our hope is for children to remain children while battling their illness. Children should live happy and continue being creative, restless, full of energy and face their disease with a smile. At Inspira our volunteers promote conversation among residents and a community life is encouraged through the many activities. Inspira is a home away from home for children and their mothers. The kind hearted community individuals and professional volunteers focus on providing children with lessons of motor and cognitive skills. Very special care is given to healthy nutrition for all in our shelter and focusing in giving our families healthy habits that will allow them to bare the disease. Mission Our mission is raise funds to have no children from Peru’s countryside with a diagnosed illness suspend their medical treatment due to lack of economic resources by providing temporary shelter, warm meals and a safe environment. Vision To ensure the mortality decreases of children with cancer and other illness not treatable in rural areas of Peru by providing a home shelter with living quality accommodations in order for them to be able to continue treatment as long as needed and until it is time for them to return to their hometown healthy and cured.
