Baloncesto in USA (BIU) is an eighteen-day basketball camp in the US with the firm idea of strengthen basketball and academic ties between young Europeans and Americans, allowing the first to live an amazing experience in the cradle of the best basketball players in the history, and in a totally different conception of sport than they are accustomed to in the old continent. The young participants will enjoy an intense trip, that will combine in an organised and enjoyable manner: sport, culture and language. From Monday to Friday, it will combine basketball practices and English classes while taking advantage of the free time to do other recreational activities. Cultural activities will be mostly held during the weekends, which will be used to travel and learn firsthand cities and tourist attractions near the camp. In addition, Baloncesto in USA will enhance cultural exchange as it will often share facilities and training with American students.
