A joint venture between Bee’ah and Crescent Enterprises, Ion will develop, acquire and operate a fleet of electric vehicles in the UAE, to drive the movement for sustainable public transport. This fleet will be the first private electric fleet in the UAE, and will complement the region’s public transportation network. The preliminary phase of ION’s operations will use electric automaker, Tesla, as the vehicle provider, while the popular ridehailing application, Careem, will serve as the platform for fleet utilisation.
