Our Director of Rehabilitation, Karen Atlas, MPT, PT, CCRT, has been practicing physical therapy for over 20 years. When she adopted a dog with a limp, she began to look for ways to apply her vast knowledge of physical therapy to help her dog and discovered the field of Canines Rehabilitation. This led Karen to get her CCRT (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist) nearly 10 years ago. Now, Karen has partnered with local veterinarian, Dr. Bill Otto, to create Atlas Rehabilitation for Canines located in Santa Barbara. We treat a variety of conditions including: arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, ligament sprains/strains, dysplasia, pre-surgery, post-surgery, and more! Our primary goal is to help your pet live a happy and functional lifestyle.
