Furthermore, the publication’s purpose is to emphasise aesthetics, the art of living and cultural commentary. In our style editorials, we hope to engage readers in a visual dialogue between elegant timeless style and ever-changing fashion trends. In our art and design articles, we aim to encourage our readers to become design conscious and culturally informed. In addition, our features on artists and photographers will be a new way of showcasing Duke’s emerging artistic talent. In our travel and culture articles, we hope to make the Duke community increasingly aware of the unique experiences that lie beyond campus, through curated travel guides and interviews with unique creative professionals. Furthermore, we aim to offer nuanced commentary on the latest developments in culture whether it be through film, music or politics.
