GCHE provides: Workforce Skill Development • We support businesses and individuals by offering workplace skill development courses Degree and Certification Opportunities GCHE is partnering with accredited colleges, trade schools, and educational services to bring certification and degree programs to Grand County. • Our goal is to provide the platform for Grand County residents to start or transition careers and enter the field of work they desire • We are working to offer not only traditional degree programs but experiential education in today’s most in-demand skills College and Career Readiness: GCHE partners with our county high schools to help provide pre-collegiate college and career opportunities • Create partnerships with our local businesses to explore careers through job shadowing, internships, and work-study programs • Provide opportunities for our rural high school students to visit college and trade schools • Facilitate workshops that support student/parent success in postsecondary education Adult Education Opportunities: Lifelong learning can enhance our understanding of the world around us, provide us with more and better opportunities, and improve our quality of life! • Adult education focuses on professional and personal growth.
