If you are a law student, a solicitor or a barrister in either your first five years of practice, or under the age of 35 years, you are a young lawyer. The Young Lawyers Committee works for all young lawyers in WA, but to get the full benefit of what YLC can offer to you, membership of the Law Society of Western Australia is required. The YLC organises regular Continuing Professional Development seminars, as well as social and sporting functions to facilitate networking and collegiality amongst the junior profession.
