CIRCA Group Europe Ltd is a management consulting firm specialising in research, technology and innovation management. CIRCA is operating successfully since 1991. CIRCA's clients are mainly in Ireland, but we also work in Lithuania, Estonia, Netherlands, China, UAE and elsewhere. Current projects include: - Study on the future vision for the Alimentary Pharmabiotic Centre in univ. College Cork. - Review of the benefits to Ireland of membership of 9 International Research Organisations (CERN, ESO etc) for Ministry of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation. - Part of a team supporting the development of a Research Evaluation process for Abu Dhabi - Review of the Health Innovation Hub, a programme to facilitate access by healthcare companies to Irish hospitals for product trials. - Study for Enterprise Ireland to evaluate the BioInnovate Ireland programme (www.bioinnovate.ie) to enhance innovation skills in the Medical Device Sector. - Review of Enterprise space for high-tech and other enterprises in Dublin city (for Dublin BIC) Key strength: wide innovation experience in industry, academia and public service. Main company services: lean design and processes; innovation and business development; research management; technology transfer; and assistance in accessing research funding. Main public service related services: STI policy studies and strategies (such as science parks, IPR, HEI collaboration, research support systems); STI programme and institutional evaluation; RTI in economic development; and project management and access to H2020. CIRCA's experience is based on long involvement in RTI management at all levels. Three CIRCA consultants have been directors of national ‘Programmes in Advanced Technology’ whose purpose was to commercialise asademic research. Four have been Industry R&D Directors and senior managers; while six have been high-level managers in national RTI agencies.
