Botter SPA was founded by Carlo Botter in Fossalta di Piave, in the province of Venice in 1928. Firstly born as a resale of bulk wines and demijohns, it became an entrepreneurial business model already in the late post-war period. Today Botter SPA is one of the largest producers and exporters of Italian wines: out of 20 bottles of Italian wine exported to the world, 1 is produced by Botter.
