NICE FOR WHAT is a movement dedicated to educating, advocating, and healing college girls that are victims of sexual assault and dating violence. While we value kindness, our name is a pushback on society's socialization of girls to show overt “niceness” in the face of disrespect, a behavior that girls are often socialized to display, that often results in an inability to enforce boundaries, low-self esteem, and remaining in situations that are not self-honoring.
