Another, Touchstone Testing Laboratory (www.TouchstoneTesting.com), is a joint venture that performs various testing, such as failure analysis and materials testing. Since it has spun out, this business has grown tremendously. Going forward, we have the world’s strongest aluminum, called MetPreg (www.metpreg.com), a thermal protection system for rockets, called Faraday Thermal Protection Systems (www.TRL.com/thermal-protection-systems), and a graphite produced from coal waste all in development and yet to spin out. In 2020, Touchstone and a group of investors moved Veloxint to Touchstone’s campus. Veloxint (www.veloxint.com) utilizes a technology, under a license from MIT that represents the cumulation of 15 years of research, based on nanocrystalline metal alloys for additive manufacturing, metal injection molding, and press and sintering.
