The California Institute for Biodiversity (CIB) advances partnerships and grows solutions to save, understand, and celebrate California’s remarkable diversity. Since its founding in 1995 by Executive Director Carol J. Baird, Ph.D., CIB trained hundreds of teachers and provided innovative educational resources to thousands of students statewide. Opportunities have changed since 1995, but the mission remains the same: share wonder, advance opportunity, and include all Californians in saving this magnificent land we call home.
