Over the past decade advances in information technology and telecommunications have transformed the methods in which individuals, businesses, and even nations manage their day-to-day operations. In a direct response to this evolution, Tele-Med International (TMI) was founded in 2008 as a tele-health service provider working towards patient-centric healthcare, facilitating efficient communication and tele-health services between healthcare providers and patients regardless of their respective geographic locations. TMI provides services and solutions tailored for clients’ needs based not only on clinical and economic settings, but even taking into consideration how to provide efficient and seamless remote access of healthcare providers and their patients to each other depending on the available communication infrastructure. Among many of its projects Tele-Med International is the sole developer and operator of the Presidential Telemedicine Program in concert with The Egyptian Ministry of Health, The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
