The SMJFL is one of the largest junior sports competitions in Australia, delivering Australian Rules football competitions in Boys, Mixed and Girls divisions. The league has a number of full and part time staff who collectively administer the different dimensions of the league's operations. In 2019, the SMJFL will manage 25 Clubs, 500+ Teams, 11,100+ Players, 700+ Umpires, 4,000+ Volunteers and 3,600+ matches of football.
