ABOUT Key Equipment & Supply Company is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Continuing to expand our business, we opened a new facility in Springfield, Illinois, in 2021 to provide more sales, parts, service, and rentals in this territory. Covering Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and most of Illinois, we are ready to assist you. We have seven Territory Managers and Parts & Service Sales Representatives to assist you in all your job and equipment needs. Key Equipment has three facilities featuring fully stocked parts departments and backed by factory-trained and certified technicians. We invest in our people and provide continuous training providing quality service to our customers. OUR HISTORY Incorporating on October 1, 1962, Key Equipment & Supply Company began as an Elgin Sweeper and Leach refuse packer distributor for a large portion of Illinois and eastern Missouri. Initially, we operated an office in St. Louis, Missouri, and Peoria, Illinois. Throughout the years, our company has built and maintained strong relationships with municipalities and contractors. Our core philosophy exemplifies quality equipment and quality service after the sale. Steven Hyink has led Key Equipment since 1994 and expanded our territory to cover most of Illinois, and all of Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. We operate three facilities in St. Louis (Bridgeton), MO, Kansas City, KS, and Springfield, IL, representing a variety of environmental products such as: refuse and recycling collection vehicles, leaf collection equipment, street sweepers, remote control slope mowers, sewer inspection, and sewer cleaning equipment. We are bringing the most innovative products to the market; and are constantly training our personnel on the operations, service, and safety of all these products. Expanding our business in 2020 to add our rental company, Quality Rents, and our new location in Springfield, IL, we continue to add new members to our team and high-quality products to fulfill our customer’s needs.
