Linking Lives UK is a national Christian charity based in the UK. We work primarily with churches and Christian agencies to assist in the setting up of befriending schemes aimed at isolated older people. This is achieved using a community franchising approach. On a local level, volunteers are matched to someone who has requested regular visits, and these take place within the home setting. Local projects also run regular social events and activities aimed at reducing loneliness and social isolation.
