CalmCo was founded in 2009 by Luc Cos. With many years of experience in managing the European Operations at ADP, Luc noticed many DMS had the same flaw: they lacked clear day-to-day consolidated information for managers and owners. Luc developed the Business Scan Automotive solution and many customers quickly signed up, based on a variety of Dealer Management Systems. The first BIaaS platform was developed in 2012 together with the Carya Group for BMW. In September 2015, CalmCo launched its new BIaaS platform which offers a full BI solution in the cloud for all DMS in the Belgian and European Market. CalmCo developed a very efficient way of transferring on-premise data from the customer to its own cloud infrastructure. The solution puts all the relevant information quickly at the business users' fingertips. At time of writing, CalmCo has a userbase on its Business Intelligence platform representing over 130.000 new vehicles sold and 160 dealersites.
