Miyonga Fresh Greens is a multi award winning, Kenyan owned family business that exports fresh and dried fruits, herbs and vegetables. Founded in 2015 as a family business, Miyonga Fresh Green started out as a transitional horticultural farm with 10 acres located in Machakos County, to having access to a network over 2400 smallholder growers across Kenya. The company has grown from being out growers of fresh produce to becoming award winning exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables to the UK, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Ireland, South Africa and the USA. Since 2017, Miyonga has expanded into dried fruits and powder production. Our core product lines include - Fresh Produce: Avocado, Passion fruits, Beans and Peas (GAP Certified) - Dried Fruits: Mango, Pineapple, Pawpaw, Banana, Coconut and Jackfruit (Organic and Conventional) - Dried Fruit Powder: Mango, Banana, Pineapple, Baobab, Moringa, Cricket and Ginger The company sources fruit from smallholder farmers across Kenya including Machakos, Makueni, Tan river, Meru, Embu, Murang’a, Taita Taveta, Homabay and Eldoret. Miyonga Fresh Greens has emerged out of community supported agriculture which means that each purchase goes to impact the livelihoods of the small holder farmers, their families and the overall community.
