Danish Support Group Ukraine
www.dsgu.orgHow do we ensure that the help and resources that society offers end up where it has the greatest possible effect? Our volunteers have backgrounds in the Danish defense, the police, the emergency services, and the business community. At DSGU we have gathered all the right skills and competencies to answer that question. We are a newly started humanitarian organization consisting of volunteers who solve a wide range of tasks. Last Mile Logistics is an important part of the help reaching those in need. With our local network and boots on the group we can help your organization to maximize from your contribution. Demining is another specialty that we at Danish Support Group Ukraine work hard to setup and get running, with out huge administrative cost and professional partners. When the war broke out, we sent two of our people to the border between Poland and Ukraine to set up an advanced office. Later we send yet another into Kyiv to continue to create a network among authorities and the people in the immediate area around the border and in Ukraine. In this way, we are continuously informed about specific needs, that we help to fulfill. We are both a coordinating and an executive part of the efforts, and we make sure that the aid does not get bogged down at the border but ends up in the right places with the right people in Ukraine. So far, we have solved tasks like getting pallets of donated children’s clothes sent from Denmark to Ukraine, we have provided food for an animal shelter south of Kyiv, we have provided first aid and safety equipment for people at the front, and we have trained Ukrainians in first aid at home in Denmark. We hope for your support. Visit our webpage www.dsgu.org and support us. Thank you.
