We are the Public Health Department for the County of Santa Barbara, home to nearly 450,000 people. Our mission is to improve the health of our communities by preventing disease, promoting wellness and health equity, while ensuring access to needed health care, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. We operate Health Care Centers throughout the county and provide a wide range of community-based services to ensure optimal health for every community member.
