The mission of PHRP is to provide affordable and accessible training to ensure ethical and safe practices whenever research is being conducted with human participants. The PHRP course is developed by d’Vinci Interactive using independent subject matter experts in research, ethics, and human subjects protection and professional instructional designers. d’Vinci’s experience developing human subjects training dates back to 2004 when it developed the NIH’s free PHRP course under contract. When that free course was no longer available in 2018, d’Vinci created PHRPtraining.com to deliver an affordable online training solution. PHRP Online Training meets the training needs of learners at educational institutions, non-profits, government agencies, healthcare organizations, biotech companies, and other research-related groups. The course is updated regularly to reflect the most current regulations and policies. PHRP Online Training launched a new version of the course on November 1, 2021. The course features an engaging format with various interactive exercises, impactful case studies, a glossary of key terms, and links to related materials and resources. Learners who successfully pass the course will earn a single, personalized certificate of completion that is accessible from the learner’s dashboard. The course is available in Spanish in French and continuing education credits are also offered. The PHRP course made available on November 1st will not be affiliated with the authors of the current course, Human Subjects Research Consulting US, LLC. and Maryland Prevention Health LLC.
