Alec Reed Academy is an all-through school and Adult Education Centre in Northolt, West London, where traditional values, contemporary aspirations and creative curiosity underpin our pursuit of excellence. Our passion is for learning. We want our students to be excited by their experience in the classroom and beyond, committed to achieving their very best and confident about their futures. The combination of passionate and talented teaching and support staff and excellent facilities create an enviable learning environment. In September 2014, the Academy was honoured to be awarded ‘The Collins PiXL Award for achieving Outstanding Progress’ – the Academy’s improvement in examination results was recognised as outstanding nationally by Partners in Excellence. We are proud of our ‘state of the art’ facilities that have benefited from extensive capital funding. The most recent developments include the Arc in the Primary phase and the Quad in the Secondary phase. The Academy is fortunate in that it also owns ‘Academy Fields’; a large section of fertile land and the perfect environment for outdoor learning. Extensive sports facilities including a Community Sports Centre are also enjoyed by our students, staff and members of our wider communities alike. Our aim: to be an outstanding learning community where individuals thrive.
