Wings Cultural Society (WCS), exists to strengthen, nurture and promote the professional not-for-profit Indian Theatre. We debuted as a cultural group with our performance of 'Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni' at the 21st Urdu Drama Festival on 17th February 2010, at Shri Ram Centre, New Delhi. The group participated in the 15th and 17th Bharat Rang Mahotsav; 30th and 31st Bhartendu Natya Utsav; 4th IPTA Natya Rangotsav, Jaipur; 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Rang Bayaar (JNU Annual Theatre Festival); Jashn-e-Zabaan (A Celebration of Language and Expressions); Jaya Utsav (Celebrating Living Traditions of Mahabharata); 21st, 23rd and 24th Urdu Drama Festival; All India Radio Urdu Theatre Festival (Delhi and Jammu); Jashn-e-Rekhta (Celebrating Urdu), Youth-Yuga (Ranga Shankra Annual Theatre Festival) and The Zohra Segal Festival of the Arts. The group continues to perform at India International Centre, India Habitat Centre, Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) and Jamia Millia Islamia.
