Royal LePage Shelter Foundation
www.royallepage.caThe Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and preventing domestic violence. Through agent commission donations and the fundraising efforts of Royal LePage offices across Canada, the foundation has raised more than $35 million to help provide hope and safety to more than 50,000 women and children every year. To break the cycle of violence, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation also supports violence prevention and education programs with our partners, Canadian Women's Foundation and Women's Shelters Canada. All funds raised by Royal LePage offices remain in their local community and because Royal LePage Canada covers the foundation's administrative costs, 100 per cent of all funds raised goes toward the cause. In recognition of the positive impact the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation has had on building safer communities, Royal LePage was named Outstanding Corporate Citizen by the Canadian Franchise Association (2015) and Business Leader (Canada's Volunteer Awards) by the Government of Canada (2016).
