Our Mission at Warida Wholistic Wellness is to provide a sanctuary for wellbeing, supporting community change one person at a time. We welcome a diversity of clients and their individual experiences of wellbeing, and empower people to heal their disconnection in a culturally safe way, embracing the ethos gudu-guduwa (coming together). To further support the development of strong empowered families and communities; we provide volunteering, supported training or employment opportunities to Australian First Nations women impacted by trauma. To facilitate positive mental wellbeing, these opportunities are uniquely balanced with self-care priorities within our workplace. As a Badimaya Supply Nation Certified Indigenous social enterprise, we believe that strong empowered people are pivotal in encouraging inner strength in their children, grandchildren and partners. We are passionate about empowering people to explore, embrace and reconnect with their inner fire. This drive to heal disconnection has come from wanting to break the trauma cycle for ourselves, family and community. We have found the courage to process our own trauma experiences as well as spending time understanding and reflecting on who we are at our core and our connection to country. Our services use proven psychological techniques, strategies, within an intuitive, integrated and culturally safe approach. We offer trauma-informed counselling; Transformational & Confidence Coaching; Equine Assisted Psychotherapy; Horse Archery; Wellness Retreats / Yarning Circles and Wayapa as tools for empowerment and strength building. We also facilitate training and promote wellbeing activities by other Indigenous social enterprises or local artists. Our Connection to Country and our belief that we are part of a living, breathing organism rather than being separate from informs who we are. At all times, our Badimaya (Indigenous) and Ukrainian heritages, sense of community and holistic approach underpin our practice.
