As a private, nonprofit adult literacy organization, the South Baltimore Learning Center (SBLC) is committed to improving the basic educational and job skill levels of individuals (from non-readers to GED candidates) who live in Baltimore city and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to strengthen the economic and cultural vitality of Baltimore by empowering educationally disadvantaged adults to improve their quality of life.
