Rivendell Winery was originally established in 1985 by a local family and soon became recognised for its gardens, café, produce and premium wines. The estate has gone through a redevelopment phase and has now returned to family ownership by the Gruenthal’s. Darryn and Silje (Celia) own Rivendell Winery together with Danny and Corinne – Darryn’s parents. Relocating to Rivendell from Perth, Darryn and Celia re-opened the Rivendell cellar door in December 2017 and now live on site with their two children, Savanna and Daniel. Wine - Darryn and Celia own and operate the winery business and work as a husband and wife team. The Rivendell Winery Estate range of wines is growing and truly reflects their passion for good, local wines. While the estate grows mainly Cabernet Sauvignon they source fruit from other local producers to create a range of truly beautiful wines. Weddings - Darryn and Celia enjoy hosting a selection of wedding celebrations and other fun life celebrations. Celia coordinates most of the events with input and assistance from YEH – Yallingup Event Hire – and Gem Events. Rivendell Winery is the perfect weekend escape and provides you with a fresh breath of air during these COVID travel restriction times. Take a breath, relax and have fun with your family for a weekend. The estate only hosts one wedding per weekend and as such provides you an opportunity of feeling like you have the place to yourself. There is room to sleep up to 56 adults on site.
