Prisma Garcia is the new administrator and project coordinator for the IACA. Prisma joined the IACA team in 2012. She is thrilled to be a part of the IACA and looks forward to building an even stronger connection among Indian oncologists, IACA members and those interested in cancer care in India in the hopes of providing much needed care to the Indian sub-continent. Prisma is a graduate from the University of Notre Dame and has an academic background in biological sciences and management- entrepreneurship. The Indo-American Cancer Association (IACA) is an organization of physicians and non-physicians of Indian subcontinent heritage with a mission to advance cancer care wherever its members live and work and to look after the needs and interests of its members. It would also act to maintain the identity of this group of people, be a conduit for interchange of ideas and goodwill, and provide a forum for scientific educational, cultural, charitable and social interaction among them.
