Non-profit charity involved in providing programs and services primarily for Japanese Canadian seniors in the greater Vancouver, British Columbia area. With a staff of four professionals and some 150 volunteers, Tonari Gumi as it is called in Japanese is actively involved in not only providing programs but in going out to assist those that are in need within the community, whether they are seniors or not. Anyone within the community requiring help can contact Tonari Gumi and we will either provide direct assistance or refer the individual to other organizations and groups that can more effectively provide the required assistance.
