Prophon is a non-profit organization for collective management of neighboring music rights. It is established to protect and manage the rights of producers and performing artists. Prophon is part of the International Performance Rights Committee of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and part of Societies' Council for the Collective Management of Performers' Rights (SCAPR). The organization manages the biggest music catalog in Bulgaria, including the repertoire of the four major record companies (Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, EMI and Warner Music Group), as well as more than 30 000 independent local and foreign labels, and also almost 300 of the most popular Bulgarian and international artists, bands, record and music companies.
