Whether consumer or professional, neophyte or connoisseur, our team of highly experienced educators have the knowledge, experience and passion to unveil the wonderful world of wine & spirits. History: Mike Gonze and Deb Mortillaro created Palate Partners 1992. In 1995 this partnership rebranded and continues to evolve into Palate Partners, a Wine and Spirits School and Gift Company. Starting in the Strip where people wanted discounted table top items and now want high-end wine accessories, our product mix has changed a lot. Palate Partners had one of the first complete displays of Riedel glassware in Pittsburgh and conducted the first Riedel glass tastings for over 50 people in the US. This size tasting for Riedel is now their standard. French designed Sabres for Champagne opening, Roger wine openers and top of the line wine racks became the norm. We now try to stay on top the newest gadgets for wine from Gurgle Pitchers to Coravin syphoning systems. Using 20 plus years of buying experience our buyers and gift designers combine resources with Dreadnought Wines to create gift packages that include artisanal foods and entertaining accoutrements. We started with a request from one of our customers to now doing gifts for major corporations and entire families. Our school started with very casual classes we are now certified to teach WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) classes. Our training continues and teacher roster is continuously expanding so we can now offer classes at every level. Recently expanding the business to a larger location from the Strip District to the Lawrenceville/Bloomfield area, this destination is one to visit!
