The SHRM Georgia State Council serves as the liaison between the chapters and SHRM National while promoting the benefits of SHRM. Through visits to chapters, the State Council’s responsibility is to assess needs, adopt programs, and provide information to promote the success of local chapters. The State Council also coordinates state and national legislative initiatives specifically as they relate to the human resource profession.
