Situated at the gateway to Cowes, on Phillip Island, Victoria - home to the internationally renowned Little Penguins, koalas, seals and a host of wildlife, we are a not for profit organisation that primarily looks after the welfare of our veterans and their immediate families as well as the local community on Phillip Island, Victoria. In order to fund our welfare services, we operate a 220 seat bistro, open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and open to everyone and you don't have to be a member of an RSL; and gaming facilities. The Club's vision is "to be the pinnacle benchmark for all Victorian RSL's and enhance our image and value to the community". The Lone Pine Bistro is family friendly, fully accessible and offers a wide range of meal options including gluten free, vegetarian, seniors and children's menus. Bookings can be made by phone or one line using Book-A-Restaurant on line service. The Terrace is an over 18's tapas bar open Fridays from 4 to 9 pm and weekends from noon. An ideal location to meet for drinks after work, or a pre-dinner appetizer. No need to book, just wander through the bistro and enjoy the natural native garden outlook. Currently, we are serving paella on the Terrace each Sunday from 1230 and it's only $25 including a glass of wine on tap! We have one of the largest collections of war memorabilia on display throughout the entire venue; and a library of fascinating war related books available for our member's use. Club membership -4900- who receive a wide variety of benefits and have a strong sense of belonging to a club like ours. We operate a Men's Shed; a Community bus; Welfare Grants Application process and policy; a Breakfast club for kids; a Day Club connecting socially isolated members of the community and conduct ANZAC Day & Remembrance Days.
