Nashville Parks Foundation enhances public parks, promotes sustainable growth of the park system and expands recreational opportunities in Davidson County. The Foundation supports 178 parks and 27 community centers in Nashville. Founded in 2015, the Foundation is Metro Parks' partner in ensuring Nashville's park system continues to thrive and grow with the needs of the city. The Foundation provides countywide equitable support by closing public funding gaps through collaboration with partners in business and other organizations.
