The Surfactant Technology Laboratory (LTT) is a UFRN laboratory located at the Institute of Chemistry (IQ), focused on improving teaching and research for students in chemistry, petroleum chemistry, chemical engineering and petroleum engineering, as well as in study on the use of surfactants and emulsified systems in several areas. We develop works in the segments of drilling fluid synthesis, washer mattress, well stimulation, advanced recovery, produced water treatment, emulsion breakage, corrosion inhibitor, scale remover, gravel treatment, waste water treatment and others; always aiming extensively at the use of surfactants, microemulsion emulsion and nanoemulsion.
