The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE coordinately conducts various advancement programs, Competitions, Workshops, Industrial Visits and Diploma programs for professionals and Students. ISHRAE-REC is one of the college working committee of Rajalakshmi Engineering College.
