Rachel Angerman, CAI II, trained Recovery Specialist and founder of Recovery Allies, is more than a recovery professional. She is a survivor. Once a homeless addict on the streets of Los Angeles, Angerman attained sobriety in 2004 and spent the next half decade mentoring under some of the most notable recovery professionals in the industry. In 2011, Angerman founded Recovery Allies in Seattle. After closely observing the recovery industry, she made it her goal to offer services that more than just the top 1% of society could afford. She has spent the time since supporting families struggling with addiction and mental health-related issues. Rachel is recognized by community-based professionals and treatment centers across the country for her tireless support of clients in different phases of recovery. Now surrounded by a team of carefully chosen mentors and health professionals, Rachel and Recovery Allies specialize in creating long-term recovery plans, regardless of a client’s circumstances. Each plan is tailored to the needs of the individual and family to insure accountability, create awareness and provide effective relapse prevention.
